My Journey: Art as Therapy
Welcome to my art and jewelry collections!
I've always loved creating, but my journey took an unexpected turn when I lost most of the use of my dominate hand. Once an avid jewelry maker, I handcrafted delicate rose bead necklaces. However, due to the challenges I now face, I can no longer continue making them.
In response to this, I've turned to painting as a new form of expression and therapy. Painting has become a meditation for me, a way to manage chronic pain and continue sharing beauty with the world.
Now using my non-dominate hand, I focus on creating heartfelt pieces, from portraits of cats and dogs to serene still life paintings and hand-painted holiday greeting cards.
Although I've had to stop making rose bead necklaces, I'm offering the remaining pieces here, alongside my paintings, as a celebration of both the old and the new in my creative journey.
